Fear of not being able to hold money

Sometimes when you have had a number of financial setbacks in your life you develop a fear of making money in case you lose it again.

Often when you have made and lost money it is not actually the business that you are involved in that was at fault but it was your mindset or subconscious programming.

This is particularly obvious with people that win Tattslotto or get an inheritance. Their inherent money thermostat is set at a much lower level than that which corresponds to the amount of money in their bank account so they try to get rid of the money. There is often very little conscious recognition of this, until it is too late and they find themselves I n a worse position than they were in originally.

Everyone that plays Tattslotto believes it won’t happen to them but the reality is the chances are high.

SO what ids the best way to deal with this? Its best to change your subconscious programming before you get the money then you will have a much better chance of keeping it. Also if you can get your money thermostat set at a much higher level where you are comfortable having large amounts of money then the money will be more likely to move towards you.

Money is, in reality just a form of energy that is given in return for a service. Energy likes to vibrate with something else that has the same vibration as itself, so if you are vibrating at the same energy as money it is more likely to move towards you.  Also if you vibrate at the level of money it will have no need to move away from you so you won’t lose it when you get it. Win, Win!!

There are many things you can do to change your subconscious programming but one of the ways I have found to be most successful is to use “tapping” or “EFT (emotional freedom technique)”.

Here is a script for “fear of not being able to hold money”

If you have never done tapping before please refer to http://wholisticmedicalcentre.com/how-to-do-eft-tapping/  for a picture and video of the points.  Remember to rate yourself before you start on a scale from 1 to 10 so that you can then recognise any improvement after you have completed the tapping rounds.

Karate chop point

  • Even though I panic at the thought of money sitting in my bank account I deeply and completely love and accept myself
  • Even though I panic the thought of having money just sitting in my bank account doesn’t feel right I deeply and completely love and accept myself
  • Even though I worry that if I have money sitting in my bank account I will try to get rid of it as it feels uncomfortable I deeply and completely love and accept myself

Eyebrow point: I panic at the thought of money sitting in my bank account
Outside eye: the thought of having money just sitting in my bank account doesn’t feel right
Under eye: I worry that if I have money sitting in my bank account
Under nose: I will try to get rid of it as it feels uncomfortable
Under chin: I don’t know why I feel this way
Collar bone: Maybe because I have never had money sit in my bank account before
Under arm: Maybe that’s why I have always lost it before
Top of head: Maybe that’s why I find it so hard to make money.

Top of head: Maybe that’s why I find it so hard to make money.

Eyebrow point: I wonder why having money sitting in my bank account makes me uncomfortable
Outside eye:  It seems strange because
Under eye: I recommend to others that
Under nose: it is important to save a portion of all their income
Under chin: If you regularly save a portion of all your income
Collar bone: naturally you will eventually have
Under arm: money sitting in your bank account
Top of head: So, I wonder why this makes me uncomfortable

Eyebrow point:  I know I worry that if I get more money than I need to pay my debts
Outside eye:  I will only lose it
Under eye:  Because that’s what has happened in the past.
Under nose:  I wonder where I first learned this
Under chin: I wonder if this is part of my subconscious programming that I learnt before I was 7
Collar bone: Just because I have lost money in the past doesn’t mean it will happen in the future
Under arm: After all everyone knows
Top of head: The past doesn’t equal the future

Rate yourself again here on a scale from 1 to 10 so that you can recognise any improvement s that have occurred. If the score has come down but is still more than 2 or 3 then repeat the above tapping rounds. If some issues have come up as you have tapped include them in your statements. Remember the more relevant the statements are to you the more benefit they will be.

Reframe

Eyebrow point:  In the past I did the best I knew how at the time
Outside eye:  I need to give myself credit for that
Under eye:  I have certainly learnt a lot since I last lost money
Under nose: Particularly the importance of mindset
Under chin: in the ability to make and keep money
Collar bone: I really don’t need to worry about the past
Under arm: Because today and tomorrow
Top of head: hold lessons that have been learnt from the past

Eyebrow point: It is safe to move forward now
Outside eye: Believing that when I make excess money
Under eye:  I will be able to hold on to it
Under nose:  And I will feel comfortable having it just sitting in my bank account
Under chin: Just waiting in case I ever have need of it.
Collar bone: Ideally, I will have 3 months income readily accessible in my bank account
Under arm: and another 6 months income saved in term deposits
Top of head: And I will be perfectly happy and content with that.
